Christy Harvey

When Christy Harvey was a child, she wanted to grow up to be Wonder Woman, Batgirl or Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In a lucky twist of fate, she was able to combine all three (usually minus the cool costumes) as the editor of Mic Check, a product of the Center for American Progress Action Fund. Christy is a regular contributor to the Thom Hartmann, The Young Turks and Jay Marvin shows. When she’s not battling Evil and Corruption and fighting for Truth and Justice, Christy enjoys smart cocktails, dumb television and NBA hoops.

Grant Ginder

Grant Ginder is the associate editor for Mic Check, a project of the Center for American Progress Action Fund. Grant entered the exciting world of radio after being told time and time again that he “had the perfect face for it.” When he’s not attacking Paris Hilton or Jack Abramoff, Grant enjoys piña coladas and getting caught in the rain.

Ben Furnas

Ben Furnas is the research assistant for MicCheck. Ben is a recent graduate of Cornell University where he managed to eke out a double major in Government and Economics despite spending most of his time in a dinosaur costume. While not infiltrating the radio waves of America with messages of peace, love, and spirited dissatisfaction with the status quo, Ben teaches Lindy Hop with Jam Cellar in Washington, DC, and enjoys biking, cooking and trying to read Zizek.
